Catholic High School Entrance Examination

Registration:
Students who plan to apply to one or more Catholic high schools on Long Island must take the Catholic High School Entrance Examination. The exam will be administered without accommodations on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 8:30 a.m. for students applying for admission to freshman classes beginning in the Fall of 2011. There is a $35 registration fee. Students must register for the exam by Wednesday, October 6, 2010. Walk-ins will be permitted on the day of the exam. There is an additional $15 fee for walk-ins. A Make-up examination for students unable to take the regularly scheduled examination without accommodations is scheduled for Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 8:30 a.m. This examination will be administered at only two locations: In Nassau County at Chaminade High School (Mineola) and in Suffolk County at St. Anthony's High School (South Huntington). School Registration: After being accepted to a particular high school, students and families will be informed of all necessary registration procedures.
